Program

A comprehensive training program designed to teach actors the standards, workflow, and expectations required to work on a professional film set.

The Program

Your great school may have taught you the art and craft of acting or filmmaking. Now it’s time to learn the practical skills that allow you to apply that training on a professional set. From the casting process to being hired, professionals on set do not have the time, nor the interest or responsibility, to teach you how a set works, what is expected of you, and what your responsibilities are. In fact, they often won’t hire you if you don’t already master the necessary screen skills and understand “setiquette” (set etiquette).

The Film Set Protocol™ teaches the real-world knowledge actors are expected to have the moment they step onto a professional production. From Audition to Wrap: Every step, every expectation, every dos and don’ts, learn how to book the job, keep the job, and work effectively on set. Understand who’s who on a production, how the crew operates, and how to properly follow direction from the First Assistant Director and the Director while demonstrating that you know exactly what you’re doing. This is the transition from acting student to professional actor.
